While beer is always the summertime beverage of choice, warm summer knights call for — no, require — frozen cocktails to help you cool down. Sure, you can make margaritas or pina coladas, but why not kick it up a notch with white wine slushies?
The Best White Wine Slushies to Make this Summer
White wine slushies are just that: smoothie-type cocktails that combine ice with your favorite white wine. We’ve rounded up 11 of our favorite white wine slushie recipes to help you get started this summer.

This is literally the easiest creation ever. All you need to do is grab a few cups of frozen peaches, some white wine, a few ice cubes and a blender and you’ve got a drink that’s perfect for sipping poolside (or just on your deck after a long, hot day).

The worst thing about most frozen cocktails sold at restaurants and bars is the amount of added sugar inside. Do-it-yourself white wine slushies, on the other hand, are all up to you.
Take these strawberry peach white wine slushies, for example. The only sugar you’ll find in these bad boys is from the wine and the natural sugar in the frozen fruit. Even better: While The Happy Housie used Barefoot Moscato in her recipe, you can use whatever wine fits your fancy (a low-sugar wine, perhaps?).
Whatever you choose, these white wine slushies will be a hit at your next BBQ.

OK, so these peach white wine slushies from Snappy Gourmet aren’t just made of wine and fruit. This version of our favorite white wine slushies is also made with orange liqueur (like Grand Marinier) and peach liqueur, along with lemon and lime juice.
Snappy Gourmet also offers this excellent tip if you’re planning to freeze fresh peaches to make this drink: Score an X on the bottom of each peach with a knife, boil for 30 to 60 seconds and then dunk in a bowl of ice water. The shock of the hot to cold will allow you to easily peel the peaches without needing an extra tool.

Who knew watermelon and white wine could be such a wonderful pair? Brita — the brains behind Food With Feeling did — and thank goodness! All you have to do is freeze some fresh watermelon (to help make a creamier texture, she says) and then throw it in the blender along with the white wine of your choice.
Pro tip: Use cheap white wine because you really won’t be able to tell the difference, according to Brita. You can always add a tablespoon of honey or agave syrup to amp up the sweetness, if necessary.

By now, you know how to make white wine slushies: Simply combine a bottle of white wine with your frozen fruit of choice. This raspberry and peach creation from Plant and Vine is no exception, except it takes a little bit more planning (don’t worry, just a tiny bit).
For this recipe, Kerrie recommends layering the slushies instead of combining them. First, blend frozen peaches with white wine and then layer them in glasses. Then, freeze until they’re just firm enough to support another layer made of frozen raspberries and white wine (about 30-45 minutes or so).
The finished product? A brightly layered cocktail that looks like it came from a swim-up bar!

At first glance, blueberry white wine slushies sound kind of… sour.
Blueberries themselves don’t have a lot of natural sugar, making them one of the healthiest fruits to snack on. However, you can simply dial up the sweetness by adding a few tablespoons of sugar to this recipe (or whatever sweetener you prefer).
We guarantee you’ll love it — and your mouth will turn purple from the blueberries (which is actually really fun!).

We love a good pun here at Celebribody, so that’s part of the reason we included the pinot freez-io on our list of best white wine slushies.
It’s easy to make, too: Simply grab a bottle of your favorite Pinot Grigio, along with frozen pineapple chunks and lemonade ice cubes, and blend! To make the lemonade ice cubes, simply pour your favorite lemonade into ice cube trays and freeze — it’s that simple.

Who doesn’t love snow cones? These shaved ice creations — flavored with various colored liquids — were a staple of our childhood. I don’t really have a taste for these county fair treats these days, but we can totally get behind these sangria white wine slushies served snow cone style.
Though this version is made with blueberries, pomegranate juice, and Apothic Wine, you can customize them to your heart’s content — just don’t forget the paper cones to make them truly legit!

OK, so technically we should call this a frosé (since it’s made with rosé wine), but it’s still technically one of the white wine slushies to us.
All you have to do is freeze a bottle of rosé overnight — Abby at Style Me Pretty Living used Belvoir Rosé Elderflower — and then blend the cubes. It’s that simple, though you can always add frozen peaches or other fruit to make it extra awesome.

Cherries probably aren’t the first fruit that comes to mind when you’re trying to decide what to pair with your white wine in a slushie, but it should be. The tartness of cherries is perfectly offset by the sweetness of the Riesling and frozen peaches in this creation.
Still not convinced? The recipe also calls for sugar, so your mouth won’t be puckering after you take a sip.
